                   Big Sandy River Crossing

Access to the Wagon Bow Ranch during inclement weather can become limited as most property owners and visitors know. In most cases, it is just a tempory inconvienence with muddy roads. It has been a while, but on occasion the main crossing at Upper Trout Creek and Bogles Ranch roads can become completly cut off by the Big Sandy. Travelers are advised to take heed to the rising water levels when attemting to cross the Big Sandy. There are several alternative crossing that will allow you to connect with the "back road" that parralells the Big Sandy and connecting you back to Bogles Ranch Road.

Here you will find updates to the crossing conditions as they are recieved from the local property owners and neighbors as well as suggested alternative crossing options.

BACK ROAD DIRECTIONS - This map shows the way to get around the main river crossings when the river is flooded. Take the Cholla Canyon Ranch Road turn-off located on Hwy 93 (between Mile Marker 127 & 128), just south of the bridge crossing the Big Sandy River. Follow this dirt road NE and it will eventually stop at Bogles Ranch/Lower Trout Creek Road. BE SAFE!
